My favorite part of the documentary “Dark Girls" was when Viola Davis spoke about her childhood and not seeing representation for black people in TV or films. Now she stars as the lead in How To Get Away With Murder and she’s breaking boundaries and inspiring people weekly by giving us something that she wasn’t able to really have for herself. Representation matters.

Shonda Rhimes on ambition, writing Grey’s Anatomy, and learning on the job. [x]

One of THE most powerful scenes ever. GIVE HER ALL THE EMMYS!!!!

I love the positive and honest reactions to the last scene where Viola Davis strips herself from her wig, eyelashes, and makeup. So raw, so real.
